Akaki Tsereteli State University also known as Kutaisi University is a university established in July 1930 in Tbilisi, Georgia, and now located in Kutaisi.
Akaki Tsereteli State University is a multidisciplinary higher education institution that implements academic and professional programs and engages in active research activities.
Based on the traditions of the Phasis and Gelati Academies, the principles of the “Grand Charter of Universities” and national and European standards of higher education, the University strives to provide high quality education and research activities, promote student personal development,educate professionals and leaders.
